The temperatures are falling, which means festival season has officially kicked off. When we talk about festivals, Coachella always comes to mind. Coachella is probably the biggest musical festival of the year, and often dictates some of the biggest trends of the Spring and Summer seasons. Fashion blogs are full of celebrity snaps and fashionistas showcasing their most creative festival fashion outfits. We love following fashion at Shop NTL and we’ve found some groovy trends everyone can incorporate into their wardrobe.
The Kimono
One of the go-to outfits for Coachella this year from what we could see what a pair of high waisted shorts, a short top, and a kimono. Kimonos can come in all sorts of lengths, made of chiffon and silks and so many luxurious fabrics. Elaborate prints decorate these easy to wear pieces that can embellish any simple outfit beautifully. You can find kimonos and robes on Shop NTL as well!
Fringe
Fringe has definitely made its mark on fashion the last couple of years. Fringe is also super fun to dance in because it dances around with you! From the classic fringe vest, to fringe handbags, to fringe on jackets and kimonos, it’s easy to use fringe for drama or just as an accessory. It’s a perfect addition to your summer wardrobe for a boho chic vibe.
The Maxis
Maxi skirts or dresses are the easiest thing to slip on in the warmer months, and the best way to get some coverage without getting overheated. We’ve seen some high slits on skirts, and lots of skin in dresses. Try a maxi dress, or a maxi skirt and short top or tank that you can just tuck in, and you have the most effortless yet fashion-forward festival fashion look that works for so many occasions.
High Necks
With many choosing to bear leg or midriff to combat the heat, lots of fashionistas keep the necklines high and square. Lots of crop tops and dresses came up high on the neck, showcasing the shoulders with slim straps. It offers a chance to show skin elsewhere in a classy manner, creating a nice balance.
