The summer heat must be getting to Hollywood, because we could see a whole lot of skin on the VMA red carpet this year!

But of course, showing skin can be tasteful and trendy, and some celebs pulled off some really nice looks that we can’t wait to re-imagine in our own wardrobes.

We’re not used to seeing this sophisticated side of Kylie Jenner, and we have to say, we love it!

The blazer inspired dress is trendy and a little bit sexy, with a belt that cinches in her waist. Her slicked back hair and silver heels are perfect touches to a beautiful look.

A whole lot of sparkle done very right!

That’s newly engaged Karlie Kloss looking like a glittery princess in a low plunging gown with very high side slits. The dress fits her body like a glove, and her easygoing hair and makeup complement the sexy look very well.

The metallic space angel look must be coming into the forefront of fashion, because there’s been lots of that lately.

Jasmine Sanders was no exception in this beautiful long sleeved mini with a subtly sexy cutout right at the chest. The empire waist also helped show off her cute body, and the super dark lipstick was a surprising yet gorgeous contrast.

It’s refreshing to see Jennifer Lopez in such an elegant version of sexy on this red carpet!

Her sparkling silver Versace gown just gently hugs her rocking body, with a twist at the hip to really bring her shape together. The high leg slit is super sexy, and lets her show off her stunning silver shoes (and legs, of course)!

We got a little break from the glitz and glam to get a little hit of ethereal boho via Shanina Shaik, and it’s gorgeous and perfect for summer.

Her sheer jumpsuit features lovely embroidery throughout, with a super low plunge for a hint of braless skin. Her high waisted panty was the perfect accompaniment for some coverage.

This fashion-forward two piece number is sophisticated and flirty, and Millie’s timelessness certainly helps her pull off this look far beyond her years.

The fluffy little shoulder detail adds some youthfulness, and the architectural waistline of the pants add even more whimsy. Where can we get this outfit?!

Last but not least, a dazzling fringy number from one of the best dressed models out there.

Winnie Harlow looked like a modern queen who found a beautiful vintage closet and pulled out this long sleeve number, with sheer underlay and a high middle slit. It’s a whole lot of sexy in one high fashion package.
