All the stars on your most TIVO’d television programs got all glammed up to celebrate another fabulous year in television, and you know we had our eyes on the red carpet all night!
There were some gorgeous gowns and some brilliant styling this year, and there are some looks we loved so much we just had to share them with you! Let’s see if you agree.
By far the most blogged about look of the night, Julianne Hough wore a stunning Marchesa creation that matched her natural beauty.
The black tulle gown featured strategically placed pink flowers for just a hint of color, and a cute little cutout that shows a hint of Hough’s amazing physique. Her soft makeup and hair were perfect complements.
You wouldn’t expect that TV host Louise Roe was expecting in her skillfully designed ADEAM black dress!
The dress featured some big ruffles throughout, with lacy sleeves and a sheer lace ruffled skirt. The low waist style definitely shows off her great figure, but you can only see her growing bump from the side! The mom-to-be looked as elegant as ever.
Felicity Huffman’s choice of frock is a testament to how fit and the right color can make a fairly simple dress look extraordinary.
The blue lace gown was a little bit sheer, but not too much. The low neck and flowing train remind us of a bridal gown, but that’s not a bad thing! She looked so stunning with her skin brightened by the blue hue and her slight curls matched the dress perfectly.
Jessica Biel in Ralph and Russo Couture
What a hot mama!
Jessica Biel looked like a supermodel with voluminous hair and a stunningly designed Ralph & Russo Couture dress with a whole lot of glitter and some pink tulle. The low neckline, the sky-high slit, and the slight way the dress drapery shows off Biel’s incredible frame. Everything about her look was amazing and we give huge props to whoever styled her.
The uber-talented Ellie Kemper sure knows how to dress!
We love how the royal blue Jenny Packham gown she chose works so well with her creamy skin and red hair. The glitter detail is so lovely, and she even shows off a bit of skin which is out of her usual range. With so much black on the red carpet, it was refreshing to see such a strong color make an appearance.
Yvonne Strahovski in Julien MacDonald
Making the case for why red is such a trend, Stahovski dazzles in a stunning satin Julien MacDonald gown that is hot, hot, hot!
She’s showing some skin, but it’s not overt, and the layered waist helps enhance her curves. She kept it simple with minimal accessories, allowing her and the dress to shine on their own. We also love the slicked back hair – so sophisticated!
Most stars opt for the most glittering, luxurious gowns, but a toned down look as chosen by Sarah Hyland can be just as beautiful.
The orange floral patterned Zac Posen dress warms up her skin, and the cutout is a nice trendy addition to what could have been a plain dress. Her hair and natural tone makeup brighten her up and she looks like the essence of Fall.
