Bras For Mom: Nursing/Post-Pregnancy Bras

Welcome to Part 2 of our Bras For Mom series, where our aim is to help moms find the most comfortable bras for each stage of her pregnancy. We know that motherhood isn’t easy, and the journey to get there isn’t the same for everyone, so if we can help with one small aspect of being a mom, we want to! Part 1 focuses on bras to wear during pregnancy

If you have the ability to nurse, then you know that the last thing you want to do is fiddle with your bra while trying to juggle a crying baby. Even if you’re not nursing, you will probably notice a significant change in your breasts after giving birth. They will be sore, tender, possibly swollen, and things will definitely feel worse if you’re wearing a constricting, uncomfortable bra.

So without further ado, here are some bras we recommend for post-pregnancy, whether or not you’re nursing.

Warner’s Baby & Me Cotton Wire Free Comfort Nursing Bra

The great thing about a cotton nursing bra is that it’s soft and comfortable, but it’s also able to keep you dry if you leak a little bit.

With this nursing bra, you have clasps that are easy to open and close with just one hand. It’s a nice, sleek design as well, so that’s a bonus!

Naturana Wireless Organic Cotton Nursing Bra

Once again, there are no wires in this bra, but you don’t have to worry about not getting enough support.

The thick straps and band in this bra do the work, and the clasps at the top of the straps are easy to undo and do up. There are light, seamless cups in the bra as well, meaning you’re covered up with softness and an extra layer.

Elita Silk Magic Wireless Microfiber Crossover Bra

The crossover style does make for easy nursing access, and for the rest of the time, you’ll be living in soft and stylish comfort.

There are quite a few colorful options and neutral options, so you can pick and choose what makes you feel happy when you see it. You may want a couple of these since they’re so easy to throw on and go, and you can wear them long after nursing.

Parfait Underwire Microfiber Nursing Bra With Padded Straps

Underwire is definitely okay to wear when nursing, as long as it’s in a structured, well-made bra that you know is designed with your changing body in mind.

This pretty bra has all the details you want; padded straps for comfort, easy to use clasps for nursing, and even some pretty lace for decoration!

Naturana Wireless Post Surgery Moulded Cotton Mastectomy Bra

While this bra is designed for post-surgery, it is still a great option for post-pregnancy breasts.

You have the ability to adjust this bra to your comfort level with side openings, pockets to slip pads or nipple covers in, and breathable microfiber that’s soft and absorbent.

Murcia Seamless Wireless Bra With Lace V-Neck by Naturana Blue Label

For women who are either transitioning out of nursing, are not nursing, or are taking a break for a moment, this bra is a fabulous option.

The lace detailing on the neckline is so romantic and beautiful, and there are no wires but plenty of support. It’s a nice mixture of practicality and pretty.

Montelle Wireless Padded Seamless T-Shirt Bra

Here’s another pretty option for comfort and style, that’ll support your tender breasts post-pregnancy.

There are no wireless, no seams, but light padding that helps shape your breast lightly, like a soft hug.

Bonus tip: We also sell shoulder pads that’ll relieve your shoulders from straps that may dig in. If you feel like your back band is a bit too tight, you can also try bra back extenders to give yourself some extra room!
