Oh the weather outside is frightful – but the fire’s so delightful!

I love the holidays! Love that feeling of togetherness and family and holiday cheer. I love waking up late on a cold December day to the smell of hot coffee and breakfast. I love bundling up in my woolies and walking the dog in the snow. But, above all, my FAVOURITE holiday tradition is sitting by a roaring fire, curled up with a good book while Bing Crosby croons to me about a white Christmas.

But as much as the holidays are about family, I’ve always seen them as an opportunity for romance. Cuddling with your sweetie by the fire, hot cocoas after Christmas shopping, breakfast in bed… these are not occasions for your old flannel pjs. The holidays can be a chance to be a little sexy and romantic.

Liliane Chemise by Arianne Lingerie – Love the burgundy and lace combo…so cute!

I’m loving my Liliane Chemise by Arianne Lingerie and so does my boyfriend! We had a lazy Sunday today, wrapping presents and baking cookies, and there was nothing better than slipping into my Liliane Chemise and matching Liliane Leggings by Arianne and relaxing in front of the fire after dinner. It was a change from my usual sweatpant ensemble and added to the coziness and romance of the night.

Don’t get me wrong, Christmas day, I’ll be wearing my flannel snowflake pjs, but, if I wasn’t opening presents with my entire family, then I’d love to be luxuriating in something silky and slinky.

With that in mind, I bought my mom the Pamela Low Rise Pant by Ariane Lingerie with a matching Pamela Camisole for Christmas. She’s usually pretty low-key when it comes to dressing-(I’m pretty sure my fashion addiction is NOT genetic)-so I decided to treat her to a cute PJ set. Not overly “frou-frou” -as Mom would say- comfortable, feminine, the perfect loungewear.

I have this in lavender purple…so soft!

It is possible to be comfortable AND chic.
