Another Fashion Week, another round of refreshing trends to look forward to on our future shopping trips!
Spring surely is getting revitalized with some new trends, along with some of the things we usually expect to hit Spring fashion. There were, of course, tons of florals, pastels, and neons, but there were some newer trends or re-established trends that are sure to become mainstays in fashion for the long term.
Take a look at some of the best trends we’re super excited for!
That’s right – sheer is here, and it’s not going away.
A sheer moment can be a risque look, or a fresh everyday look with some expert layering.
So if you’re hoping to show off some pretty lingerie or just want something to take your basics to new levels, a sheer piece is an essential to grab up the next time you’re shopping.
What was once tacky is no longer; leopard is absolutely chic, edgy, and in style.
You’ll see big, blown up spots as well as more muted leopard everywhere. Go a little bit bold with an all-over leopard look, or just add a skirt or a top here and there for something to truly stand out.
All The Textures
Fashion extends beyond the visual and gets textural, making the experience of slipping on clothes more sensory.
From crochet to knit to fringe and netting, expect to see textures that can be mixed and matched like subtle patterns.
Let It Sparkle
Think glitter and sparkle are just for nighttime? Think again.
Sequins and sparkle was a-plenty through various collections, not just in dresses, but ready to wear items as well. Try some sparkle with your neutral basics like denim, tees, and a solid dress to make every day a party.
Lingerie Is Here To Stay
You know we’re so thrilled about this one.
Lingerie becomes clothing on the runway used as tops, while its also styled with sheer elements to make it the star of the show. Of course, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty show being the brilliant success it was just brought lingerie into the spotlight even more.
Every season has to have a statement color – next year, it’s going to be yellow.
The saturated, cheerful shade can be a harder color to pull off than most, but it’s not impossible. Pair it with a neutral, or find an accessory in the bright color. You won’t be able to escape it, so you might as well embrace it!
Tie Dye The Adult Way
No no, not the eighties tie dye!
Tie dye has been given an adult makeover with complementary colors and an ombre infusion to make wearing multiple colors in an outfit a breeze.
