Happy New Year! May this New Year bring newly found prosperity, love, happiness and delight in your life.
Sorry I’ve been M.I.A. recently. Was away on vacation, caught a nasty gastro virus then was attacked by a cold. Trying to get being sick out of the way early this year…Although I’m not 100% yet, I am able to think clearly enough to blog.
This year, my New Years resolution is (as it has been for the last 10+ years) to stop biting my nails. It’s really a nasty habit and I’m convinced it’s genetic (both my mom and grandma bite their nails). Someone told me once that biting your nails is the same as licking the inside of the toilet bowl three times. YUCK! Anyone have any helpful tips?
My second resolution is to continue working on my health and fitness. I know, I know! This is everyone’s resolution, but since the end of September, I’ve lost 20 pounds and a whole lot of inches and I don’t plan on giving that up. I completely changed my eating habits, got a personal trainer and have been faithfully going to the gym 3-4 times a week. So my resolution isn’t really “new” but rather, it’s a renewal of a commitment I already made to myself. Go me!
I love how strong and energetic I feel and it’s amazing to see how the body changes. But, the downside is that nothing fits! All the wonderful clothes (including bras and panties) that I once wore now hang off of me. The first changes I noticed were in my breasts. I think I’ve lost a cup size and a band size, but I’m not sure…I need to get a proper bra fitting. I’m now one of the 90% of women who wear the wrong bra size. I guess I should be happy, but I’m more frustrated. Guess a visit to the Bra Doctor is in order in the New Year!

I am enjoying reading your blogs very much. I am looking forward to more of them. I was sorry to hear about your cold, especially coming at the end of vacation I enjoyed reading about your fitness program and the fact that you already lost 20 lbs. That’s amazing!
I too have determined to workout this winter and lose some weight. If I lose half as much I will be happy. Plus maybe I will get to buy some new clothes for spring. I enjoyed your blog on “How to survive a road trip. I will try that with my Naturana sports bra pretty soon. I am leaving Pa. and coming to Quebec for a snowmobile trip at the end of the month. It will be an 11 hour drive. I will take your advice and wear mine. I have gotten the “Bra Doctors advice on my bras quite often and she is so helpful. Anyway, thanks for the great blogs. and congratulations on your position with Nowthatslingerie. I am looking forward to more tips from you.
