When Justin Timberlake opens the show with the addictive Can’t Stop The Feeling, you know it’s going to be a good night!
That’s exactly what The Oscars this year were – a good, happy, positive-fuelled night, all about celebrating the art of film and how it contributes to a happier world.
But you know that we’re all about what the stars are wearing, and we have some fashion awards we’d like to hand out to our favorite leading ladies of Hollywood.
Emma Stone
Not only did the beautiful Emma Stone take home the Oscar for Best Actress last night, but we think she also won best dressed!
Emma was absolutely radiant in a Givenchy fringed gold gown full of glitz and glitter, and her bold red lip and subtle gold makeup was the perfect combo.
Emma Roberts
It was clearly the night of the Emmas, as Emma Roberts was also a fashion fave last night.
Her Armani Prive gown was quirky and fun, with an exquisitely layered skirt and bralette-inspired top. She looked especially elegant with soft waves and a crimson lip.
Brie Larson
Last year’s Best Actress proved that sometimes, black on the red carpet isn’t boring.
Her Oscar de la Renta structural gown was equal parts sexy and high-fashion, with subtle cleavage and a dynamic waved skirt.
Nicole Kidman
Nicole Kidman was glowing at the Oscars, becoming a favorite of the cameras all night for her excited behavior.
She wore a high neck nude gown with glittering details that fit Nicole like a dream. Also, does this woman ever age?! We are jealous.
Taraji P. Henson
The Oscar for the HOTTEST look of the night goes to Taraji, who proves why if you can wear a gown custom to you, you should.
Her navy velvet Alberta Ferreti gown fit her body like a second skin, with a gorgeous slit to show off some skin. She accessorized perfectly and her hair was incredible.
