Fashion Dilemma!

My Darling Readers,

Last weekend, I had a total fashion dilemma.  I’m pretty sure we’ve all been there – you jotted that event down in your agenda, went about your week, and suddenly you realize that function is today and you haven’t even thought about what to wear!  This is just what happened to me last Saturday.

The event was a dinner for twenty at the home of a colleague.  While the dinner’s timing took me by surprise, I was delighted when I realized this was the perfect opportunity to wear the beautiful blouse and stunning riding-style pants I bought last week.  While the blouse (an eye-catching, yet classic, silky leopard print) is bold, the long sleeves and luxurious fabric were perfectly suited for the occasion.  Furthermore, equestrian styles are all the rage this season, and in a dark black with the right cut, these curve-hugging pants look great on all different figures!

I thought I’d solved my problem, but as I was excitedly modelling my new outfit in the mirror I noticed two, glaring faults in the ensemble:

  1. The blouse is sheer.
  2. I had some major panty-line goin’ on!

All things sheer are another trend right now, which I love – sheer fabrics offer an element of feminine mystery to any outfit, and look fabulous as well as appropriate as long as you’ve got the right cami!  Panty-line, on the other hand, is never okay; thank goodness for “invisible panties”.

Change of Scandinavia offers both solutions.  The Invisible Hipster by Change of Scandinavia is perfect for pants that hug your bottom; soft, stretchy, seamless, and free of any textured embellishment, these panties actually cover your bum… invisibly!  And Change’s Seamless Tank Top  is just as handy.  Super comfortable, it also provides full coverage and prevents any unwanted attention your sheer top might attract!

I quickly changed and headed off to dinner.  The outfit was a huge success.  The girls couldn’t get over the top and even a few of my male colleagues complimented my new look.  Am I ever glad I stopped to look in the mirror that one last time!

Here’s wishing you a relaxing, restful and rejuvenating weekend,
Sincerely,
Rachel
