Sheer Celebrity

For some reason, sheer paneling has become all the rage in Hollywood. It seems that the more skin you show the ‘sexier’ you are. I, of course do not agree with this at all! I love the female body, but I’m not for showcasing mine to the world. Plus, I really do love my underwear, and I like my breasts to be held upright and not falling all over the place. G-d knows if I wore Jaimie Alexander’s Azzaro Couture dress, I’d be wearing Body Tape from head to toe.

I wonder if Jaimie was able to move? What if she bent down to pick something up? Would it cause a total wardrobe malfunction? Why even take the chance of the entire world seeing your lady parts, especially in front of all the paparazzi? Also, without wearing panties underneath a long dress, doesn’t it get hot under there? What if Aunt Flow unexpectedly visits, what happens then!?

Oh ladies, the things we do for beauty!

Zoe Saldana’s Gucci gown is done with a lot more taste and only has a strip of sheer paneling on the sides. Her entire outfit was extremely sexy and showed quite a bit of skin, but I love Zoe so she gets a pass. Lastly, Gwyneth Paltrow wore an Antonio Berardi gown for the Iron Man 3 Hollywood premiere with thick sheer panels down the sides. At 40 years old, Gwyneth looks amazing but I’m sure if her children were to see the dress she wore, they would be very confused as to why she’s not wearing any underpants. As a parent I’m sure she doesn’t condone going commando so why do the rules not apply for her? Woman, keep your clothes on!
