Sports Illustrated just announced their upcoming Swimsuit edition lineup for 2015 and Surprise! Surprise! The magazine will feature plus size model, Ashley Graham, in the issue.
Some may credit Kate Upton for opening the doors to curvier bodies in 2012 and 2013. Yet this is a monumental moment in the magazine’s history as it features an official “plus size” model for the very first time!
Graham recently sat down with Edit Magazine & voiced her displeasure with Hollywood and its idea of “Curvy Girl” role models. She clamored for more education in schools and dismissed the idea of Jennifer Lawrence as a “plus sized” model in Hollywood’s eyes exclaiming the Hunger Games actress was “tiny”.
Ashley Graham is a Size 16 with gorgeous curves and sexy self-confidence. Her work history includes photo spreads in Glamour and Elle Magazine.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, ShopNTL.com is offering 20% off ALL regularly priced CURVY KATE items (ends 02/12/15)! That includes the all new Starry Eyed & Luau Love swimwear, the ever popular Princess collection & more favorites, from D to K cups!
