Welcome to the first part of our new Love Yourself series. We believe in the power of lingerie and how it’s a tool to help people feel beautiful and confident in their own skin. Each part will focus on a particular body part that people can be insecure about, and how to embrace it with a little bit of help from lingerie.
While having a conversation about body insecurities, one of the most common insecurities people have is their stomach. For women, it can be before or after childbirth, because of health conditions, and the constant struggle against what media tells us our bodies should be.
Most of us will never have a completely flat or ripped tummy – and that’s okay. Maybe it’s just not meant to be, and cake is just too good to swear off completely! It’s time to embrace your tummy and your love handles for the protection they give your body, and for all its glory – whatever condition it is in!
Now, we know that some days are harder than others. Some days, you need a little bit of support to feel like your true confident self. Here are some things to have on hand when it’s one of those days.
Shapewear Panties
No waist trainers or bulky, unbreathable shapewear here.
Just high-quality, cute shapewear panties to have on hand when you are really needing that extra boost.
A big tip: don’t go smaller thinking it’s going to make you look better. It won’t, and that’s not healthy. Stick to your true size.
High Waisted Panties
Sometimes the feeling of having that extra layer over our tummy can work wonders.
Plus, a high waisted panty is ultra sexy in many ways, and can actually be a beautiful way to highlight how gorgeous your curves truly are.
Seamless Panties
When panties don’t fit or they dig into you, they aren’t going to help you feel any better about your midsection.
Seamless panties are an easy solution, although size is key as well. They sit softly on your body without digging in or showing underneath your clothing.
Comfortable and Stretchy Lace Panties
A good quality, stretch lace panty is both lovely to look at and lovely against your body.
Stretch lace tends to just casually sit on your body, really making your curvature look stunning.
Is there a part of your body that you’re most insecure about?
