10 Trends To Watch in 2017

1. Embroidery Galore

Embroidery was introduced this year, but we think that next year it’ll be completely embraced for its beauty. Everything from denim to jackets and all garments in between will see embroidered florals, oriental inspiration, and interesting lines.

It appears that lingerie will be getting more ethereal and light next year, with white being the color in demand. So pull out that bridal lingerie and dust it off; it’s going to be HOT next year!

While Greenery was announced as Pantone’s color of the year, blue was the biggest that kissed the runway for next year. Thankfully, it’s a universally flattering color that comes in so many beautiful shades.

Khaki has been reinvented to become so much more than a pant. The easy, neutral fabric will be available in dresses, cool jackets, skirts, and pretty much anything you can imagine.

The shoulder will remain the body part du jour for at least another year! Look for one shoulder cutouts and off the shoulder looks that drape to showcase one shoulder, a la Flashdance.

The button up shirt dress will be a staple next year, coming in various lengths and interpretations. A shirt dress is an easy go-to look that can be transformed into anything you choose.

9. Big and Bold Stripes

Forget the thin black and white stripes. It’s all about infusing rainbow colors into giant, textured stripes that go every which way. And while you’re at it, forget the old rule that horizontal stripes aren’t flattering; they totally are!
