In lingerie, it’s becoming more prominent for designs to be less constricting, with less shaping capabilities that create shape and structure. That’s not to say lingerie is becoming less supportive; the support is still there with modern design and technology, but the lingerie embraces a woman’s natural shape and curve while offering necessary coverage. Think non-padded bras and figure-skimming chemises, and simple panties with no drama. At #ShopNTL, we keep up with the trends as they change, and want to show you how to embrace your curve with some of our lingerie.
Amourette Spotlight Lace Wireless Bralette by Triumph Lingerie
Bralettes are literally everyone, and have become a popular choice among women who want a light amount of support and shape. Bralettes essentially appear exactly like bras, but without wires or pads, and often have triangle shaped “cups.” This bralette is decorated with extravagantly detailed lace, with delicate scallops that can be shown underneath low tanks and tops. The straps are also adjustable for a small amount of lift control.
Keyhole Fantasy Lace Bralette by Montelle Intimates
This vintage inspired bralette has lightly lined cups for softness, but the long triangle cups embrace the curve of the breast with scalloped lace to accentuate. Back straps are adjustable for a great fit that feels supportive. It’s a figure flattering look for a variety of breast shapes.
Greta Non Padded Bra by Affinitas Intimates
Here’s a great bra that uses elastic as a comfortable support system, with no pads to showcase your assets. The lace embroidery and small bow detail add femininity to the triangle shaped bra, which dips low for all of those low cut tops and dresses. You can adjust the straps to your liking as well.
Kylie Lace Chemise 32 Inch by Arianne Lingerie
This slightly sheer chemise follows the natural curve of the body, with a lovely scallop along the decolletage for a slight accentuation of the breast. The lovely lace cascades from top to bottom, with only the slightest flow at the bottom. Your lover will love the tiny bit of mystery alloted in this sexy chemise that shows a hint of what’s underneath.
Sleek Thong by Calvin Klein
A simple thong goes a long way when it fits you well – it’ll disappear under clothing and make it feel as though you’re wearing nothing. If it’s too small, it digs, but if it fits just right, it is actually a really nice way to let your natural curve show. There’s a great amount of stretch in this very soft to the touch thong, with a little splash of the iconic brand’s namesake logo.
We definitely believe there are certain looks that allow for these low-support, less constricting bras. Sometimes it’s nice to give your breasts a little break, but we do stress that, especially with a larger breast, that support is key most of the time. It’s totally your choice but we think a nice balance is best.
