Alright, I admit, I absolutely love this Sarita Dress by Papillon Blanc! So much that I actually created a ‘How to Wear’ this dress collage so you can try it too. With Valentine’s Day right around the corner I thought you ladies might be looking for different sexy looks for going out. This look I call my ‘Out on the Town Look’. Wrap dresses are almost universally flattering on pretty much any body type. If you want to hide your lower half, it forms an A-line (meaning it goes away from your body from below the bodice). If you want to hide your chest, it distracts with the busy print and gives the perfect V-neck, elongating your neck (you can wear a mini-camisole underneath for less cleavage). The best part is that it wraps at your waist with a little bow, accentuating the smallest part of your body and showing off your amazing hourglass figure!
I have a lot of readers and clients who ask me how to wear different types of outfits. For this occasion and dress, I decided to wear it with a sexy high-heeled boot. This makes the outfit more playful and sexy. You can wear it with stiletto shoes as well if you’re going to a fancier event. I also paired it with a chunky statement necklace in white and gold (to offset the white in the dress). This spring and summer, it’s ALL about big jewelry so take advantage and wear that vintage costume jewelry which has been sitting in the back of your closet. I also paired this dress with my favourite Tory Burch messenger bag. It’s very chic and can dress up any outfit. I chose it in black and gold because I’m going for a sexy and sleek look here.
More importantly, it’s what’s underneath that matters most. Don’t shy away, it IS Valentine’s Day! If not for someone else, be sexy for yourself! I chose the Isabella bra and panty set by Le Mystere to wear under this dress. Besides the fact that this set is absolutely stunning and flattering, it’s also very practical. In case you want to look extra sexy, instead of wearing a camisole underneath, show off the gorgeous corded lace and striped organza bow. This bra is perfect for lower-cut tops. Not to mention the cups are made with soft and lightweight memory foam, making it a fantastic push-up bra for ladies with cup sizes B to F. For the bottoms, they’re all over semi-sheer lace boyshorts so you don’t have to worry about the panty line showing through – very hot! You can choose to wear nylons or stockings (nude or black) under the dress but you can always decide to go bare-legged (personally, I’m always comforted knowing that my derriere is covered in case of a Marilyn-Monroe-esque wind incident). It’s always good to think about potential scenarios! This entire outfit is a show-stopper from top to bottom and underneath!
Now that you’re dressed to the nines, go out and have a great time!
